Dr. Solak has over twenty years of experience in the fields of micro and nano fabrication and x-ray science. He received his Ph.D. from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Dept. of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After a postdoctoral appointment at the same university he joined the Paul Scherrer Institute in 2001. He set up and managed world’s first EUV-IL systems at the UW-Madison and later at the PSI. Dr. Solak has more than one hundred technical articles published in the fields of nanolithography, x-ray microscopy and semiconductor device reliability.
Prof. Gobrecht has over 30 years of experience in semiconductor device fabrication and micro and nano fabrication technologies. He received his Ph.D. from the Fritz-Haber-Institute in Berlin.
After 12 years of experience at the ABB Corporation in project management roles, he joined the PSI in 1993 to lead the Laboratory for Micro and Nanotechnology. While continuing his role at the PSI he recently set up and became the director of the research institute INKA (Institut für Nanotechnische Kunststoffanwendungen, Fachhochschule Aargau). He is the inventor or co-inventor of over 25 patents and pending applications.
Dr. Wohlgemuth has extensive business experience. In his long career as management consultant and responsible person of his consulting firm he has successfully completed about hundred assignments not only for large international corporations but also for small and medium sized firms in Switzerland and abroad.
His field of activity is mainly strategic management, marketing, organization and human resources. He is honorary member and past president of the Association of Management Consultants Switzerland. At the University of Zurich he serves as part time professor in business administration.
Rene Wilde has more than 10 years of market and technical experience in micro & nano structured replication tools, volume production processes, manufacturing of micro precision parts as well as Nano lmprint lithography. In addition he is an expert in nano and micro structures for security and product and brand protection.
Rene Wilde holds a degree as a sales and marketing manager from the Swiss Confederate. He has been involved intensively in the development of new products based on micro and nano structured surfaces in various industrial sectors. He works closely with a wide international network of players active in R&D and manufacturing of related products.
