Mechanical Engineer (fulltime)

Eulitha is a Swiss startup developing advanced lithography equipment for emerging applications in photonics. Our breakthrough technologies enable development and production of revolutionary devices in fields such as Augmented Reality (AR), telecommunication and biological sensors. We work with global technology leaders in developing new solutions for future near-eye displays, smart phones, flat panel displays, lasers and similar devices.

In this position, you will be responsible for assembly, installation, troubleshooting and service of complex photolithography systems, which include advanced optics, actuators, sensors and data acquisition devices. You will be working as part of a dynamic, international team with expertise areas in photonics, mechanics, lithography and semiconductor processing. You will interact with global technology firms and provide solutions that shape the future of high tech products.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, test and qualify photolithography equipment in collaboration with engineering teams 
  • Install and service equipment at customer sites globally
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electronic and optical engineers on design and improvement of lithography systems
  • Develop ideas and plans to improve manufacturing, assembly and service procedures for equipment
  • Develop concepts for testing of modules and systems
  • Specify and procure parts and subsystems from vendors
  • Communicate with and support customers on maintenance and service of installed equipment
  • Develop and implement production tasks and schedules 
  • Write technical documents, specifications,  reports, operation manuals


Profile

  • BSEE or MSEE degree (Mechanical Engineering or Technical College)
  • 3-10 years industrial experience in equipment manufacturing
  • Experience in equipment manufacturing and testing, involving fine mechanics and electronic control
  • Good knowledge of technical drawings, ability to use technical drawing software at a basic level
  • Proven hands-on technical problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of quality
  • Fluency in English
  • Passion and drive to build fantastic systems

Software Engineer (fulltime)

In this position, you will be responsible for developing software for operation of complex photolithography systems, which include advanced actuators, sensors and data acquisition devices. You will be working as part of a dynamic, international team with expertise areas in photonics, mechanics, lithography and semiconductor processing. You will interact with global technology firms and provide solutions that shape the future of high tech products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop software for controlling complex lithography equipment in view of system specifications and use requirements
  • Support selection and development of hardware for controlling and data acquisition
  • Understand and work with different interfaces such as serial and ethercat communication
  • Support customers and other team members for operation, optimization and troubleshooting of lithography equipment
  • Code in different languages, such as Phython and C++
  • Contribute to assembly, testing and troubleshooting of electronic systems
  • Interact with customers to ensure trouble-free operation of lithography equipment
  • Service and troubleshoot equipment at customer sites as necessary
  • Write technical documents, specifications,  reports, operation manuals


Profile

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • 3-10 years industrial experience in software development for equipment control, preferably for semiconductor processing equipment
  • Experience on communication standards and protocols such as Ethercat, Profinet  
  • Coding experience in different languages (C++, Python)
  • Fluency in English
  • Passion and drive to build fantastic systems
