Equipment Engineer (USA, fulltime)

Eulitha is a Swiss startup developing advanced lithography equipment for emerging applications in photonics. Our breakthrough technologies enable development and production of revolutionary devices in fields such as Augmented Reality (AR), telecommunication and biological sensors. We work with global technology leaders in developing new solutions for future near-eye displays, smart phones, flat panel displays, lasers and similar devices.

In this position, you will be responsible for installation, troubleshooting and service of complex photolithography systems at customer sites, which include advanced optics, actuators, sensors and data acquisition devices. You will be working independently but as part of a dynamic, international team with expertise areas in photonics, mechanics, lithography and semiconductor processing. You will interact with global technology firms and provide solutions that shape the future of high tech products. Successful candidate will be based on the west cost of the USA and be willing to travel to customer sites in North America.

Responsibilities

  • Install, test and qualify photolithography equipment in collaboration with engineering teams 
  • Install and service equipment at customer sites in the USA
  • Train customer staff on operation and basic maintenance of lithography equipment
  • Collaborate with and help customers for optimum operation of photolithography equipment 
  • Provide feedback to software, mechanical, electronic and optical engineers on design and improvement of lithography systems based on customer experience
  • Ensure adequate parts supply for installed equipment based in Americas
  • Write or contribute to technical documents, specifications,  reports, operation manuals

Profile

  • BSEE or MSEE degree or similar
  • 3-10 years industrial experience in semiconductor equipment manufacturing and/or service
  • Excellent communication and customer relation skills, ability to explain technical matters in a clear and efficient way
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience in equipment manufacturing and testing, involving fine mechanics and electronic control
  • Experience in photolithography processes and inspection methods
  • Proven hands-on technical problem solving skills
